How It Works
LlamaIndex Vector Store
10 company documents chunked with topic-type tagging, embedded with OpenAI text-embedding-3-small, and stored in a persistent vector index.
LangGraph State Machine
Query flows through Router (classifies topic + department), Retriever (pulls relevant chunks with optional department filtering), then streams the response.
Topic-Type Tagging
Each chunk tagged by topic (Benefits, IT & Security, HR Policy, etc.) at ingestion. Router detects query topic and filters retrieval accordingly.
Role-Aware Filtering
Department selector filters retrieval to role-specific content — Engineering gets git workflows, Sales gets CRM guides, Marketing gets brand docs.
